Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET) announced the opening of electronic registration for citizens aged between 15 and 21 years to join the ninth session of the national initiative “Yes to Work” which will be organized by Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET) from December 18 to January 5, 2017 in selected business retails in six cities across the UAE, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Zayed City in the Western Region, Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. The Director General of Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), H.E. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, stressed that the new course of "Yes to Work" comes within the framework of the directives of the wise leadership to develop various means that enable young people to work and invest in various fields that entrench the role of young national cadres in the market The ninth session of the initiative will continue its success in empowering young citizens in general and students -female students in particular- to operate them during part-time school vacations in the retail and private sector sectors, including Who have a distinguished work experience that allows them to identify the mechanisms of work in these areas where those who meet the condition of age can participate for the first time, while those who participated before can complete the rest of the four levels of the program and then complete the requirements that qualify them to obtain the certificate approved by the National Qualifications Authority.

Fatima College provides the health sector with 1,258 distinguished nursing competencies

Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, confirmed that the Fatima College of Health Sciences, affiliated with the Centre, has succeeded in providing the nursing specialty with 1,258 distinguished competencies who hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing, during the period from 2010 to 2023.
