WHY COMPETE IN THE NATIONAL COMPETITION?
The National Competition is a once in a lifetime experience for young budding talents to challenge their peers in the chosen category and be awarded the best of their chosen discipline. The National Competition represents a valuable opportunity for highly skilled students and youths to demonstrate their abilities and to develop an attitude to competitiveness that will motivate them to constantly improve their skills and to strive for better achievements.
The National Competition is really a stepping stone for a rewarding career as a skill champion. It qualifies for the selection of the team members that will represent UAE in the regional and international competitions.
In addition to the significant rewards in cash prizes EmiratesSkills provides the highest achievers with an extensive applied training in UAE and abroad through a network of experts, local public and private entities, industry partners and TVET providers. Annually the Competition attracts UAE Nationals, both young men and women, to compete in the field of craftsmanship and technology and be evaluated by a technical committee and internationally accredited experts based on the standards and judging criteria of WorldSkills organization.
