Applied Technology Schools
Applied Technology Schools start from grade 8 and lead to a Secondary Certificate in Applied Technology accredited by the Ministry of Education. The Applied Technology High Schools offer career-cluster based technical education where all students study academic core subjects) including Mathematics, Science, Information Technology, English, Arabic and Islamic Studies (, and choose one of four career clusters offered in grade 11. The career clusters include Engineering Science, Applied Engineering, Computer Science, and Health Science & Technology. The Applied Technology High Schools also provide top rank students a fast track to university admission through the “Advanced Science Program”. In addition to the Secondary Certificate, this program leads to ASP certificate in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, and Biology.
